Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) outlines the standards of behaviour and usage expected from customers using IT Zero’s services. By using IT Zero’s services, you agree to comply with this AUP. Any violation of this policy may result in the suspension or termination of services, as outlined in the Terms and Conditions.

1. General Principles

1.1. Services provided by IT Zero are intended for lawful and reasonable use.

1.2. The Customer is responsible for ensuring that their use of the services does not negatively impact IT Zero’s network, its other customers, or the general public.

2. Prohibited Uses

The following activities are strictly prohibited while using IT Zero’s services:

2.1. Unlawful Activities

Using the services for any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.

Engaging in activities such as fraud, identity theft, or the unauthorized collection or distribution of personal information.

2.2. Harmful Content and Activities

Transmitting, uploading, or distributing content that is abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or discriminatory.

Promoting violence, hatred, or illegal activities.

Uploading or distributing malicious software, including viruses, worms, or other harmful code.

2.3. Unauthorized Access

Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any system, network, or data, including IT Zero’s systems.

Intercepting or monitoring data without permission.

2.4. Network Abuse

Using the services to conduct Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks or similar disruptive activities.

Engaging in excessive bandwidth usage that may degrade the experience of other users.

2.5. Intellectual Property Infringement

Using the services to download, upload, or share copyrighted material without proper authorization.

Violating trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property rights.

3. VoIP and PSTN Usage

3.1. The Customer must not use VoIP or PSTN services in conjunction with any automated dialling services or similar systems without prior written consent from IT Zero.

3.2. Outgoing traffic from VoIP or PSTN services must not exceed 75% of the total traffic volume.

3.3. Mobile traffic routed through VoIP or PSTN services must not account for more than 50% of the total traffic volume.

3.4. Violations of these conditions may result in service suspension, termination, or additional charges as determined by IT Zero.

4. Security Obligations

4.1. Customers must ensure the security of their devices, systems, and networks connected to IT Zero’s services.

4.2. The Customer must not engage in activities that could compromise the security or integrity of IT Zero’s infrastructure.

5. Email and Communication Standards

5.1. Customers must not use IT Zero’s services to send unsolicited bulk messages (spam).

5.2. Customers must not use the services to distribute phishing emails or other fraudulent communications.

5.3. Emails sent using IT Zero’s services must include accurate sender information and comply with applicable anti-spam laws.

6. Enforcement

6.1. IT Zero reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP.

6.2. Violations of this AUP may result in:

Warnings or notifications to the Customer.

Suspension or termination of services without prior notice.

Legal action where necessary.

7. Reporting Violations

7.1. Customers can report violations of this policy by contacting IT Zero.

7.2. IT Zero will take appropriate action upon receipt of a complaint or detection of a violation.

8. Amendments

8.1. IT Zero reserves the right to modify this AUP at any time. Changes will be communicated to customers and take effect upon such notification.

8.2. Continued use of IT Zero’s services constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
